I have heard so many good things about LVL eyelashes, so I decided to eventually try it. LVL lashes stands for length, volume and lift.
It is a eyelash treatment that includes no eyelash extensions what so ever,
enhancing your natural lash. I have tried eyelash extensions before, and I am not a fan. They never last as long as they say they will and then you are left with gaps which is not a good look. As our eyelashes grow at different stages , if the hair is ready to shed the extension will go with it and thats why they never last as long as they say they do. I love the fact LVL creates the look of eyelash extensions without
applying any false eyelashes to your eye.
Traditionally a perming rod was used, but this meant that the lashes would curl back on themselves and shorten the look of the eyelashes. The difference now is that LVL uses a silicone shield that the eyelashes are pulled up onto creating the lifted look. Lashes are not curled, but straigtened and lifted. The eyelashes are also tinted to add volume and definition to your eyelashes.
LVL lashes can last up to 6 weeks or more. This treatment really makes your eyes pop. You wake up in the morning and you look awake instantly. You don't have to wear mascara during the day. At night with mascara can create that dramatic look.
The treatment cost me £50 and took about 50 minutes. I will keep you updated with how long they last. If they last as long as they say they do, it's 100% worth it.
LVL lashes will work better if you have relatively good lashes to start with. My lashes are very long but quite straight, so I knew they would benefit from this treatment.
Here are before and after photos. You can't wear mascara for 24 hours in order for your lashes to set. I'll post a photo tomorrow with mascara on!
