Workout of the Week



Muscles are fat burning machines. The more muscles you have the more fat you will burn. By just sitting on your body muscles burn 30-60 calories per pound of muscle.

I find cardio after my weights the most effective. Glycogen stores have already been depleted, so once you start training you start burning fat as soon as you elevate your heart as it is the only fuel available.

Mary's Workout of the Week:

Back and Cardio

Back:

Barbell Row x 3 sets (8 reps)
Deadlift x 3 sets (8 reps)
Pullups x 3 sets (10 reps)
Barbell Good Morning x 3 sets (8 reps)

Cardio:

 50/10 x 3 rounds (12 minutes)

1. Power Squat
2. 10 x mountain climbers + push up
3. Squat and Shoulder Press with barbell
4. Pull ups-Equaliser
